The DAC-200ts digital to analog converter represents the ultimate in both digital and analog circuit design.
It comes loaded with features, such as TruBit™ upsampling, and leverages a 128-bit DSP engine. This engine not only expands native bit depths to 32 bits but also upsamples incoming rates to one of seven selectable sample rates, reaching up to 768 kHz. Regardless of whether a signal is upsampled or remains in its native form, it undergoes multiple clockings with our OSO™ reclocking before being dispatched to four independent DACs, thereby processing eight channels. Why take such elaborate steps when others might rely on just one or two DACs? Because employing multiple DACs in parallel ensures the digital-to-analog conversion retains the full essence of the music, transitioning it into a pure analog signal that truly resonates with the analog sound.

Even more crucial than its digital sophistication is the analog circuitry. Having ensured the highest fidelity conversion from digital to analog, the signal then enters our exceptional analog circuit. Drawing from years of experience in crafting some of the world's finest analog circuits, the DAC-200ts's analog section is simply remarkable. Our Dual Independent Output (DiO™) analog topology features separate solid-state and vacuum tube output stages. Unlike hybrid designs, which maintain a consistent sound, our independent stages allow for sound customization at the push of a button, depending on the source material. Given the variability in recording quality of source materials, the ability to adjust the DAC-200ts's sound ensures utmost flexibility for the best sonic experience. Beyond serving as a top-tier digital source unit, the DAC-200ts can also function as a digital preamplifier with a 3.0-volt variable volume output. Moreover, it supports clock input for external master clocks and can itself act as a master clock for other devices through its clock output.

The DAC-200ts supports high-resolution Asynchronous USB audio, handling PCM up to 32 bit/384 kHz, and native DSD 64 and 128 audio. It also features CSR aptX® lossless Bluetooth, SPDIF coaxial and Toslink inputs, AES/EBU input, as well as both fully balanced XLR and RCA outputs. A large VFD display, full-function remote control, and connectivity options like Ethernet and Wi-Fi for control systems round out its extensive offerings.
