Fyne Audio F701SP standmount speakers shipping now

First compact loudspeaker to be added to F700SP (Special Production) series of Fyne Audio's loudspeakers, the F701SP brings technological advancements of flagship F1 series in a domestically friendly conventionally shaped cabinet. Experience gained in design and production of F1 series also allowed to bring down the consumer price for this amazing (or is it fine?) example of Fyne Audio's acoustic tech!

The 8 inch (200 mm) IsoFlare unisource coincident LF/HF-driver in F701SP is essentially a subtle upgrade of the IsoFlare unit used in F1-8, with the phase compensating insert in front of HF-membrane redesigned for wider radiation pattern. The cabinet, while disposing of unusual cylindrical shape of its high end parent, is still made from expensive northern birch ply shaped for rounded angles and internally braced for stiffness.

Crossover network underwent the usual Special Production handling: redesign for new cabinet shape, selected high quality components, silver solder, WBT Nextgen terminals and cryogenic treatment.

Fyne Audio recommends a matching stand, FS8, for F701SPs, which is available separately.
