Fyne Audio opens new factory to double UK production

New Fyne Audio premises in Bellshill near Glasgow unite manufacturing, testing, warehousing and R&D under one roof
New Fyne Audio premises in Bellshill near Glasgow unite manufacturing, testing, warehousing and R&D under one roof. The Scottish company is committed to local production with high efficiency and thorough quality control. The new facility signifies a substantial investment while allowing to double the volume of UK produced Fyne Audio loudspeakers.
This is a major step for the relatively new company, founded in 2017, which has outgrown its current Glasgow area production site and used to outsource warehouses. Andrzej Sosna, Managing Director of Fyne Audio, expressed the significance of the new development in a press-release: “We are incredibly proud of our new factory, building on the brand’s success over the past seven years. Creating Fyne Audio and bringing multiple ranges of award-winning loudspeakers to markets worldwide has been a significant achievement, and our new facility will stand as the foundation of our future growth plans. The move allows us to deliver even more products that sound extraordinary, look superb and are built to the highest standards here in the UK.”
The Bellshill factory already has a purpose-built listening room for tests and demonstration and a cryogenic lab for audio specific processing of metal and conductive parts within the loudspeaker crossover. Sustainability is also a critical consideration and the facility will be fitted with more than 400 solar panels for environmentally friendly and efficient energy consumption. The new factory ensures faster production and delivery of Fyne Audio's loudspeakers to dealers in the UK and more than 45 distributors worldwide.
Spacious premises have enough room to expand on-site and when the move to the new factory will complete Fyne Audio expects to increase its workforce hiring locally.
