The compact 2U rack-mounted PMC Power 750-8 is an extremely versatile multichannel power amplifier. Designed to be mounted in a standard 19’’ rack enclosure, stationary or mobile (add rear mounting kit in this case), the amp is cooled by internal fans allowing several units to be stacked.
Power 750-8 is a result of several years of research and offers the very edge of modern high efficiency amplifier technologies. Output channels operate in switched mode (Class D) using PWM to achieve 6kW of total power (8 x 750W).
Fully-featured DSP allows total control over channel assignment, crossover configuration, bridging, load matching (current or voltage source), EQ, limiting and protection, as well as shape of interpolation filters. It is accessible via Ethernet port and System Engineer app (Windows). Dante network card is also available. Firmware is upgradeable and further functionality may be added in the future.
The amp has both digital (AES-3) and analogue inputs using Phoenix connectors. Outputs are SpeakOn, power inlet is PowerCon 32A.
