Gold Note HP-10, headphone amp with multiple configurations

Gold Note HP-10, a new addition to compact (200mm width) '10' series of hi-fi components, is also a first dedicated headphone amplifier for the Tuscany-based company.
Built as a dual-mono fully balanced design, the new headphone amp provides full-featured analogue functionality: balanced (4-pin XLR, Pentaconn) and unbalanced (3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks) outputs, signal polarity switch (0°/180°), pre-amp outputs (RCA, XLR), pre-amp bypass, stereo/mono switch and so on. A special set of 'Studio' analogue controls contribute to even more user options: EQ curves, including Harman Target Curve and Superflat, 4 crossfeed presets to adjust the 'out-of-head sound' effect, output impedance adjustment for better load damping.
All the functions can be controlled via remote, touchscreen or rotary controller on the front panel.
To be a perfect match for your listening needs, the new Gold Note HP-10 headphone amplifier is available in different configurations:
  • pure analogue HP-10;
  • HP-10 BT with Bluetooth 5.1 (supports SBC, AAC, aptX or aptX HD codecs), ESS DAC, wireless connectivity;
  • HP-10 Deluxe, with USB-C port to connect external digital sources, for example PC or Mac laptops or USB-C-equipped smartphones or tablets and AKM4493 DAC with digital resolution for PCM signals up to 32 bits and 768 kHz, DSD up to DSD512.
A clear upgrade path is available to all HP-10 versions by connecting an external highly regulated power supply, Gold Note PSU-10 EVO.
Gold Note HP-10 is available now in gold, silver and black finishes, retail prices starting from €1890.
