Equipped with a bespoke 6-inch bass driver boasting 20mm of excursion, the PMC6 integrates seamlessly with PMC’s latest ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) bass-loading and Laminair™ airflow technologies. This combination delivers performance that rivals most 8-inch monitors, providing exceptional bass extension, headroom, dynamics, and low distortion across all levels. The high frequencies are handled by a precision 1-inch fabric soft-dome tweeter, featuring a shallow waveguide for wide, tonally consistent dispersion and precise imaging. Both drivers are individually powered by state-of-the-art 200W Class-D amplifiers, ensuring ultra-low distortion and high damping factor.

Whether positioned in portrait or landscape orientation, the PMC6’s sophisticated DSP engine automatically adjusts the crossover to maintain optimal tonal accuracy, phase coherence, and imaging. Calibration is easy via rear-panel controls or PMC’s browser-based SoundAlign™ software.

For those seeking a full-range system, the PMC6 can be upgraded with a PMC8 SUB, forming the PMC6 XBD system. Activating the ‘XBD’ DSP mode optimises the integration of both units, delivering deep bass extension down to 25Hz.
