As Chord Electronics marks its 30th anniversary, we're proud to bring our flagship ULTIMA amplifier technology to the ULTIMA 2 mono power amplifier, making premier audio performance more accessible. Launched in October 2018, the ULTIMA 2 inherits the groundbreaking ULTIMA topology, previously exclusive to our top-of-the-line models, embodying the same core principles and sound excellence.

Replacing the SPM 6000 MKII, the 750-watt ULTIMA 2 joins our prestigious Reference range. It boasts a newly designed fascia by John Franks, featuring aircraft-grade aluminum construction with a robust 28-mm front panel. The design is highlighted by a recessed, illuminating power button and a discreetly placed dimmable lighting switch, marrying aesthetic elegance with functional brilliance.

Available in Jett Black or Argent Silver, and customizable with the iconic Integra Leg system or polished black acrylic side blocks, the ULTIMA 2 offers versatility to match its sonic superiority. Connectivity is comprehensive, including balanced/unbalanced inputs, high-quality speaker terminals, a 12V trigger, and a C-19-type IEC, ensuring the ULTIMA 2 seamlessly integrates into any high-end audio system.
