The CD-1000 MkII, housed in a sleek brushed aluminum chassis, seamlessly combines digital and analog stages into one elegant device. It’s designed to play music from CDs as well as audio files from a TV or DVD player connected via optical or coaxial input. The CD-1000 MkII delivers natural, detailed, and powerful sound and can easily integrate into any high-end stereo system.

Equipped with a top-of-the-line 24bit/192kHz digital converter and digital inputs like S/PDIF coaxial and TOS optical, it ensures you get the best audio performance from your system. The aluminum JPL-2800 transport mechanism, made in Austria by Stream Unlimited, is among the best in the world, guaranteeing maximum stability and preventing fluctuations or loss of definition. The CD-1000 MkII also features our Zero-Clock™ technology, effectively reducing jitter, and includes a digital volume control that can directly drive a power amplifier or active speakers.

The CD-1000 MkII is available in three models: the CD-1000 MkII with an integrated Burr-Brown PCM1796 D/A converter chip; the CD-1000 MkII DELUXE with the superior Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC; and the CD-1000 MkII DELUXE DSD, which also includes a USB-B port supporting up to DSD256 and PCM 32bit/384kHz.
