Introducing the DS-1000 EVO, the most advanced streaming DAC we've ever designed. It seamlessly integrates cutting-edge digital-to-analog technology with our signature Italian Sound, delivering exceptional audio quality.

At the heart of the DS-1000 EVO is a Dual-Mono D/A converter design, powered by two AKM AK4493 converters, ensuring the highest fidelity and virtually zero crosstalk during conversion. Streaming is effortless with Tidal Connect, or simply by connecting your computer via USB. The DS-1000 EVO supports a wide range of audio formats, including MQA, PCM (up to 32bit/384kHz), and DSD (up to DSD512).

The Class A output stage, composed of audio-grade discrete components, is meticulously selected to produce our distinctive Italian Sound.

Ultra-High Resolution Streaming
With the DS-1000 EVO, you can stream through Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, vTuner, and Deezer. Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect make streaming even easier directly from their apps.
Access your digital music collection stored on a NAS or computer using any UPnP/DLNA software from your smartphone or tablet. You can also download our GN Control app (free for iOS and Android) to manage all features and functions of the DS-1000 EVO, as well as your music and streaming services.

Headphones Amp and Line Preamplifier
The DS-1000 EVO models feature a professional 6.3mm headphone output with two sensitivity levels (High/Low), utilizing proprietary technology to maximize your headphones' performance. The DS-1000 EVO LINE also includes a Class A preamp stage to control volume directly in the analog domain, which can be bypassed when the unit is set to DAC mode.

Being Roon Ready means Gold Note uses Roon streaming technology for an exceptional user interface, easy setup, rock-solid daily reliability, and uncompromised audio performance.
Tidal Connect
With Tidal Connect, you can stream music to your DS-1000 EVO directly from the Tidal app, available on iOS and Android.
