The M600 features a custom-developed 8.6″ aluminum tonearm, engineered specifically for this turntable. The arm’s height is adjustable and includes a 4-way ball cardan bearing constructed from solid aluminum blocks, alongside a carbon tonearm head known for its high torsional rigidity. The heavy aluminum platter is internally treated with a damping compound to significantly reduce resonances, enhancing mass and thus ensuring supremely accurate and stable playback speeds.
Optionally, the M600 can be equipped with a pre-adjusted Ortofon Quintet Red cartridge, celebrated for its dynamic range and superior resolution. Its spatial imaging and tonal balance are outstanding, making it an ideal match for the REKKORD M600.
