This 3-way active monitor combines two custom-designed 6-inch ultra-long-throw bass drivers with the PMC55 2-inch soft-dome mid-range unit and a precision-built 1-inch soft-dome tweeter. The PMC55 features an innovative ‘N-compass’ waveguide that enhances wide dispersion and exceptional mid-range projection. Together with the high-performance tweeter, this design produces an ultra-wide, stable soundstage with a smooth, natural in-room response. Each bass driver is powered by its own 400W Class-D amplifier, all controlled by highly accurate DSP-based crossovers for seamless integration. Like the PMC6, the PMC6-2 can be configured via rear-panel controls or the browser-based SoundAlign™ software, offering comprehensive boundary and EQ options.

Thanks to ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) bass-loading technology, the PMC6-2 achieves an exceptional size-to-performance ratio, delivering extended low frequencies and consistent tonal balance across all listening levels. Laminair™ airflow technology, visible in the hexagonal vent ducts, reduces colouration and enhances both dynamics and efficiency.

For those seeking even greater performance, the PMC6-2 can be upgraded to a full-range XBD system by adding the PMC8.2 SUB. Simply activate XBD mode, which perfectly integrates the two units, extending the bass response down to 25Hz with additional headroom.
