PMC 8-2

This three-way active studio monitor is engineered for the most demanding environments, delivering precise and critical reference monitoring with exceptional accuracy.

As with all PMC loudspeakers, the PMC8-2’s super-consistent dispersion and tonal balance allow it to seamlessly integrate with smaller PMC speakers to form larger multi-channel or immersive systems.

The dual bass drivers are paired with the same PMC55 mid-range tweeter, DSP system, and four channels of 400W Class-D amplification found in the PMC6-2. The speaker can be configured via the rear panel or through PMC’s intuitive SoundAlign™ software using a computer or tablet.

Featuring a meticulously tuned ATL™ cabinet and hexagonal Laminair™ vents, the PMC8-2 delivers exceptional performance that rivals our main reference monitors. It offers smooth and accurate bass down to 25Hz, a revealing mid-range, and expansive, stable sound-staging. The PMC8-2’s outstanding definition, fidelity, dynamics, and low-end precision ensure confident mix decisions, with no listening fatigue, even during extended sessions.

The PMC8-2 can be upgraded with the addition of a PMC8-2 SUB to create an XBD system, enhancing bass headroom by 6dB. Dedicated floor stands are available for both the PMC8-2 and PMC8-2 XBD systems, positioning them at the ideal listening height.
