To the power of Cubitt! Cubed entertainment awaits you with new Cubitt 5 active wireless speakers from Fyne Audio
Puns aside, the new speaker is named after Cubitt Court, an address near Glasgow, where it is made, and where Fyne Audio’s HQ and new production facilities are located.
Cubitt 5 is 26 cm tall and 16,5 cm wide, and incorporates a host of original technologies which were just waiting for wireless application. That includes Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare unisource 125 mm HF/LF-drive unit with its uniform sound coverage for the whole room allowing no brainer positioning and immediate set-up with all modern sources.
Speaking of sources, mobile phones or notebooks can be connected to Сubitt 5 wirelessly via Bluetooh aptX HD & AAC, digital sources via Toslink, TV via HDMI ARC and you can even get your vinyl records spinning in no time using Cubitt’s built-in MM-phonostage. There is also a line-in and a subwoofer output, for future add-ons.
Built-in amp is controlled by digital crossover and DSP to take advantage of perfect match to the IsoFlare LF/HF-drive unit. IR-remote can be stored in a dedicated compartment in the back of one of the speakers.
Designed for flexible placement around the home, the compact cabinet features high-density MDF walls, internal bracing and a front-firing bass port to allow positioning closer to walls. The speakers are available in five finishes: Midnight Black, Pearl Titanium, Olive Green, Pebble Grey and Arctic White. Great choice to fit any home décor.
