Pianosa embodies the philosophy of the entire Gold Note turntable range: innovative shapes and the highest quality materials in the service of the best sound experience. The lower plinth, inspired by the catenary curve, is available in walnut wood or black lacquered MDF, handcrafted by the finest Italian artisans. Each piece is meticulously selected and carefully worked to form the “heart” of each turntable. The upper plinth, made of black lacquered MDF, is 20mm thick and reinforced by a 3mm stainless steel plate, ensuring exceptional rigidity. This design results in audio performance that surpasses all expectations.

The 12V synchronous motor control system and the materials chosen for Pianosa are derived directly from Gold Note’s top-of-the-line models. This ensures a device that eliminates vibrations, reproduces the smallest details, and delivers excellent dynamic response. Pianosa features a high-precision pivot system with very low tolerance to minimise friction during operation. The tempered steel platter spindle perfectly aligns with the chrome steel ball bearing, achieving flawless rotational fluidity and minimal noise.
