Gold Note CD-5 offers fully balanced dual-differential schematics for both digital and analogue sections, is manufactured at Gold Note factory in Italy, where each unit is individually tested. It has RCA and XLR analogue outputs for immediate connection to an amplifier and also Toslink and RCA digital outputs for use with an external DAC. A special connector allows for an easy upgrade when unit’s high current demands are delegated to an external power supply, for example Gold Note PSU-10 EVO with its massive inductive (choke) filtering and extra shielding.
