The Gold Note Giglio is an ultra-high-end, reference-grade turntable that represents a masterclass in high-mass resonance control and rotational precision. Unlike conventional high-mass turntables that simply absorb and store vibrational energy (causing a “dead” sound), the Giglio utilizes a highly sophisticated triple-layer damping architecture.

It features a massive 50mm solid Italian Walnut plinth—carved into Gold Note’s signature anti-resonant “catenary curve” to eliminate standing waves—reinforced by a 3mm stainless steel plate and integrated with a 20mm POM base. This specific density variation creates an impenetrable acoustic barrier. The centerpiece is its towering 33mm Sustarin (polyvinyl) platter. This aerospace-grade material shares a nearly identical acoustic impedance to vinyl records, allowing it to act as a mechanical ground, silently draining micro-vibrations away from the stylus.
