The Pianosa solves this structural vulnerability through its signature “catenary curve” plinth design. Handcrafted from a massive block of solid Italian Walnut, this elegant curve is not merely aesthetic—it is mathematically calculated to physically disrupt standing waves and maximize structural rigidity. This acoustic wooden base is seamlessly coupled with a 20mm damped MDF plinth and reinforced by a 3mm stainless steel plate, creating a dense, multi-material damping architecture that annihilates mechanical resonances. Featuring a heavy 23mm high-dampening Sustarin (polyvinyl) platter and driven by a proprietary 12V synchronous motor with a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) micro-controller, it guarantees dead-silent, pitch-perfect rotation.
