Meze Audio Strada is a premium closed-back dynamic headphone designed to deliver tonal balance, excellent noise isolation, and an immersive soundstage for both desktop and portable listening. At its core is an advanced 50mm dynamic driver—originally developed for the acclaimed 109 PRO—specifically retuned for a sealed acoustic chamber.
The driver utilizes a highly sophisticated composite architecture: a W-shaped dome crafted from a carbon fiber-reinforced cellulose composite to reduce resonance, surrounded by a semicrystalline polymer torus coated in beryllium. This beryllium coating is applied via Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to maximize stiffness and transient speed, while precise 45.5° grooves and a copper-zinc alloy stabilizer further suppress unwanted harmonic distortion. Externally, the Strada features a lightweight (330g), hand-painted magnesium frame, meticulously crafted Macassar Ebony wood earcups, and a seamless magnetic ear pad mounting system for easy serviceability.
With a highly efficient 40-ohm impedance and 111 dB sensitivity, the Strada is versatile enough to be driven by high-end DAPs or portable DACs, delivering fatigue-free, high-resolution audio across a 5 Hz to 30 kHz frequency range.
The Meze STRADA benefits from our seamless magnetic ear pad mounting system, enhancing serviceability and providing an easier, more accessible pad-swapping experience without compromising proper sealing.
The ear cups are adorned in Macassar ebony – a heavy, dense, and aesthetically pleasing hardwood known for its deep, rich brown coloration punctuated by intricate golden-brown stripes.
