Introducing the Chord Qutest, a remarkably compact device that completely defies its size with exceptional audio performance. Built on the acclaimed DAC architecture of the award-winning Hugo 2, this extraordinary desktop DACconsistently sets new standards in digital conversion for audiophiles.
Immerse yourself in a revolutionary home audio experience. Setting itself apart from similar models, it is a pure, dedicated standalone DAC, devoid of headphone amplification or rechargeable batteries. Furthermore, it represents the latest evolution in our esteemed series, replacing the highly praised 2Qute.
Unleash the transformative power of our cutting-edge digital technology across a wide range of connected audio devices. Consequently, it instantly elevates the acoustic performance of your ageing digital source components, brilliantly bringing them up to date for modern high-resolution listening.
Featuring galvanically isolated USB-B, optical, and dual coaxial digital inputs, it perfectly complements the entire Qutest range. Moreover, MGY OU is the official distributor of Chord Electronics in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Experience true high-fidelity sound—order your DAC today and redefine your music!

The Chord Electronics Qutest is a multi-award-winning, pure standalone desktop Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) designed to be the ultimate digital source for home audio systems.
Unlike the Hugo 2, the Chord Qutest deliberately omits headphone amplification and batteries, dedicating its entire architecture purely to class-leading digital-to-analog conversion. At its core, it shares the exact same revolutionary custom-coded FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and advanced WTA (Watts Transient Aligned) filter with a 49,152 tap-length as the Hugo 2, delivering phenomenal timing accuracy, noise reduction, and detail retrieval.
To ensure seamless integration into any Hi-Fi setup, the Qutest features a unique user-selectable output voltage switch (1V, 2V, and 3V RMS) to perfectly match the input sensitivity of various preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers (like the matching Chord Anni). It offers comprehensive connectivity: a galvanically isolated USB-B input (supporting up to 768kHz PCM and DSD512 to eliminate computer noise), optical TOSLINK, and dual BNC coaxial inputs specifically optimized for connection with the Chord Hugo M Scaler.
Housed in a dense, CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum chassis with a top-mounted polycarbonate viewing window, the Qutest also features four selectable frequency-shaping filters to precisely tailor the sound signature.

MADE IN UK: Experience authentic British engineering. Every Chord Electronics device is meticulously designed, hand-assembled, and precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum in Kent, Great Britain, adhering to the highest global standards of digital audio innovation.
The Chord Qutest chassis showcases a completely reimagined structure. Meticulously crafted from solid aircraft-grade aluminum billet, it possesses substantial mass and is precision-machined to perfection. The Qutest PCB is housed within a shallow cavity, providing superior protection and isolation from external vibrations compared to previous designs.
Chord Qutest inherits the convenient user-selectable frequency-shaping filters and input selection controls from its predecessor, Hugo 2. These features, easily accessible through two strategically placed fascia-mounted spheres, offer exceptional flexibility and customization. Additionally, Qutest includes RCA analogue outputs for seamless integration with integrated amplifiers, preamps, and headphone amps. It also incorporates high-resolution dual-data digital inputs, ensuring compatibility with future Chord Electronics products.
An impressive new feature is the user-selectable output voltage, allowing you to choose between 1V, 2V, or 3V RMS outputs. This adaptability guarantees seamless connectivity with a wide range of partnering devices, catering to your individual preferences.
Elevate your audio setup with Qutest, the ultimate DAC that combines state-of-the-art technology, exquisite craftsmanship, and unparalleled performance. Prepare to immerse yourself in a sound experience like never before.
