This fully balanced design ensures absolute signal integrity and maximum noise rejection for ultra-low output cartridges. It is engineered to extract the finest micro-details from Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, providing an extensive array of selectable impedance and gain settings for perfect electrical matching. At its core, the Symphonic employs Chord’s advanced Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) switch-mode power supply, effectively isolating the delicate phono signal from mains interference and delivering a pitch-black sonic background.
Housed in the signature CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum Choral chassis, it visually and technically perfectly matches the DAVE DAC and Prima preamplifier. Additional features include a switchable low-frequency rumble filter to eliminate mechanical platter vibration noise.
